You have to change in order to grow!

Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Change…change is hard, however, it’s just what the doctor ordered!! Sometimes we get a little stubborn and resentful when we have to evolve, why? Because it is a comfort issue. We rather things stay the same so we know what to expect. But God has different plans… He is known to shake things up a little

When we refuse to grow we find ourselves in a position of complacency. Just stuck in a rut yearning to be who we once were. Clinging on to memories, replaying them, and wanting the good ole days to return. I’m sorry to burst your bubble…You will never be who you once were. You cannot be a past version of you. Why? Read the verse above. God wants to do a new thing!

Satan wants you to focus on your past. And if you do you will never see your future. God wants to grow you up in him. Let Him do it! It may be uncomfortable at first, but you know what?? It will be well worth it in the end!
